Tuna and tomato pasta recipeTuna and tomato pasta Ingredients: 500g (12oz) Lean minced beef 2 tblsp light soy sauce 1 Teaspoon mixed herbs Ground black pepper 40g (1 1/2oz) Cheddar cheese Sunflower oil Method: Take the grill pan from your cooker. Then turn on your grill to highest setting. Put the mince beef into a bown and add the soy sauce, mixed herbs and two pinches of black peper. Then mix well together with a fork. Divide into four portions and squeeze into a ball and then flaten. Cut the cheddar cheese into 4 cubes. Then push into the middle of each burger, then push the mince mix over the cheese to completetly cover. Use a paper towel to wipe a little oil over the grill rack to stop your burgers sticking. Use a fish slice to transfer your burgers onto the grill pan. Now reduce the heat on your grill to medium and cook the burgers for between 6 to 8 minutes. Next flip the burgers over carefully and repeat the cooking for another 6 to 8 minutes. This time keep a close eye on your burgers to make sure they don't burn. Now test your burgers to see if they are ready. Use the back of a fork and press down, if they feel springy then they are cooked medium. if they feel firm then they are cooked well done. Finally put on a sliced burger bun and enjoy with tomato ketchup. This is a great meal in its self that can be served with a salad dressing. |
